From a humble beginning, as a small youth camp nestled in the woods of northwestern Pennsylvania, Camp Fitch has grown significantly into a year round facility serving not only traditional summer campers, but school groups, weekend retreats, specialty camps and special population groups.

Programming, too, continues to expand every year. Diverse activities such as Rock Climbing and Water Skiing in the summer, to Cross Country Skiing and Tubing in the winter have been added in recent years to further enhance the camping experience.

As you can well imagine, this type of growth requires significant support and resources. Camp Fitch has been able to add facilities, program and staff through the generous, ongoing support of friends – friends who believe in our mission.

This amazing phenomenon we know as Camp Fitch has been going on for nearly a hundred years. A big part of growing up and discovering one’s self happens at Camp Fitch. We know how important this opportunity is and our commitment is to make this experience possible to all children from every social and economic background. Perhaps the most important financial gift you can give is to our Strong Kids Campaign.

Your kind support to the Strong Kids Campaign will allow us to serve the youth of tomorrow and assures that all campers have a healthy and safe camping experience.

Volunteering
Needless to say there are many ways to support camp. Giving us your most valuable possession – your time – is certainly appreciated and incredibly important. The ways to volunteer are many:

• Program Volunteer – helping with the Weekend Program or the Outdoor Education School Program.
• Strong Kids Campaign – be a campaigner for this very worthwhile endeavor.
• Pound some nails – camp offers many work weekends to help keep this ever-growing operation moving forward.
• Be a Camp Fitch Ambassador – host an evening with potential summer campers in your community (and save money on your child’s camping fee).
