Camp Fitch Bunch Return to the top
oooooooh...
The Camp Fitch bunch
is the truest and the best
and we keep things going
and we never take a rest
and we have one yell
and we yell it all together
and it goes like this
CAMP FITCH FOREVER!!!!

ALLIGATOR
Add your verse to Alligator by sending us an e-mail.

SAY WHAT I SAY!
AND DO WHAT I DO!
The alligator is my friend
he can be your friend too!
I’d rather have him as my friend
than wear him as my shoe.

(chorus) alligator!
AlliGATOR
ALLIGATOR!
Can be your friend
can be your friend
can be your friend
too!

The alligator is my friend
he likes to hug and flirt
I’d rather have him as my friend
than wear him on my shirt!

(chorus)

the alligator is my friend
he likes to play with felt
I’d rather have him as my friend
than wear him as a belt!

(chorus)

the alligator is my friend
he has this big what-cha-ma-call-it
I’d rather have him as my friend
than carry him as a wallet!

(chorus)

the alligator is my friend
he likes to sing in verse
I’d rather have him as my friend
than carry him as a purse!

(chorus)

the alligator is my friend
he can be your friend too.
If only you would understand
that he has feelings too!

(chorus)

The alligator is my friend
I like to take him shopping
I have to walk in front of him
Or ill step in his alligator droppings

You know you went to Camp Fitch if …
You start most of you sentences with "this one time, at summer camp ..."
You still refer to Kool-Aid as bug juice.
You have no problem at all showering with bugs.
S'mores are your favorite desert.
You own a footlocker and were never in the army.
You enjoy the smell of OFF!
You have been sprayed by a skunk.
You still sing camp songs when you are bored, and have no fear about
belting one out in public.
Your parents never saw you from mid June to mid August.
Teva is your favorite footwear.
You know the art of short sheeting.
You have been Mack Trucked.
You watch every summer camp movie, no matter how cheezie and relive your
adventures.
You were a camper, a junior counselor, a counselor and a director and
never stopped until you absolutely HAD to.
You still relish care packages.
You thought you were cool when you 'got mail' (and it WASN'T on the internet).
You made friends with the kid who had the best food.
You laughed when that same kid got their food ravished by a raccoon.
You stopped laughing when that raccoon got in a fight with a skunk and it
sprayed your cabin.
You had the biggest crush on that outdoorsy god-like counselor guy.
Nobody makes pies like Charlie!
You still have EVERY candle from candlelight!
"SAY WHAT I SAY!!!!!!! AND DOOOOOOOO WHAT I DO!"

You know all the motions to little bunny foo-foo.
You wonder if Dan Olin really is a Ninja.
You've had a stuffed pizza from Jim & Sue's.
You had Jim Duffey, Mike Hurl and Jon Wilson as your counselors.
You knew Jon Wilson before he was on the JCrew catalog cover.
You remember Coach Arnold's soccer camp.
You know what "Down the hill" means.

from Paula Daniels:
The old lunch table games that used to keep your campers from dwelling
too much on the food have now become drinking games!
You have a collection of gimp projects that could easily set the world record.
Kangaroo court was a day to dread!
You have gotten in a serious water fight with charlie.
Hospital disinfectant became the all powerful room freshener.
The song "girls girls girls that's all I see" was not banned.
Your dish crew gets caught skinny-dipping in Erie by Barb after you stole their clothes!!

from David Jay:
You know what a Stuffy is.
You know how much fun some rocks, paint, and a ball of yarn can be.
.... at the bench
you know what the loaf is.
